We start with an initial conversation to understand your project, goals, and timeline.
From there we develop a clear path forward with a fee structure, anticipated schedule, what engineering support is needed, and meetings wih you.
These factors help create coordinated drawings and bringing a contractor on board.
We stay involved through construction to keep communication clear, be your client representative on site, and help keep the project moving if issues arise.
-
The earlier, the better.
We can help evaluate feasibility, walk through options, and guide early decisions before design begins. This helps avoid delays and keeps the project moving more efficiently.
Some clients choose to do a design consultation prior to bringing an architect on board. This helps to understand options, costs, and learn a little about what it is like to work with an architect.
-
Yes, most of our work involves close coordination with contractors, developers, and consultants.
We structure our process to support real construction timelines and keep teams aligned.
-
Yes. We prepare permit drawings and coordinate with the local jurisdiction as part of the process.
We also help identify requirements early, so there are fewer surprises later.
We can also help with permit submission to your local city or township. Some clients handle this themselves, some contractors prefer to submit, and others have us manage the process.
-
Every project timeline is a little different depending on the size, scope, and current staff availability.
Before we provide a proposal, we will talk through your goals and any important deadlines so we can understand what you are hoping to achieve.
From there, we outline the expected timeline early and structure the process to keep things moving efficiently.
-
We offer a $500 design consultation for early-stage guidance. This is two hours of our time with you. Learn more about what is included in a design consultation.
For full projects, fees are based on scope, size, and complexity. We provide clear proposals so you understand what’s included before moving forward.
-
Yes. We offer design consultations, test fits, and early layout studies to help you evaluate a space before making a bigger commitment. This can be especially helpful if you are considering buying a property, signing a lease, or trying to understand whether a space can support your goals before moving forward.
For business owners and tenants, an early layout study can help you understand how your team, equipment, furniture, customer areas, storage, or operations may fit within a building. For property owners, we can also help create layout studies that show potential tenants how a space could work for their needs, which can support leasing conversations.
These early studies are often a great first step before moving into a full design project or permanent drawings needed for construction and move-in. Our goal is to support the decision-making process for you, your business, and your building from the early planning stages through construction.

Yes. You will work directly with me throughout the project.
Rossier Architecture & Design is a small firm, so I stay personally involved in every project we take on. Depending on the project scope, there may be other consultants, engineers, or team members involved, but I remain your main point of contact and stay closely engaged from start to finish.
This helps keep communication consistent, decisions clear, and the project coordinated through each phase.

Our process is built around clarity, communication, and advocacy.
I started Rossier Architecture & Design because I believe clients deserve more than a set of drawings. They deserve someone who can guide them through the process, explain what is happening, help them understand their options, and advocate for their goals from the first conversation through construction.
A building project can feel overwhelming, especially if you have never gone through the process before. There are design decisions, code requirements, budgets, permit reviews, contractor questions, and construction details that all need to be coordinated. My role is to help make that process feel less confusing and more manageable.
We focus on clear drawings, honest communication, and practical solutions that support you, your business, and your building. Whether we are helping you evaluate a space, develop a design, submit for permit, or work through construction, the goal is the same. We want you to feel informed, supported, and confident in the decisions being made.
At Rossier Architecture & Design, we do not see architecture as just a deliverable. We see it as a relationship, a process, and a way to help people move their projects forward with clarity.

After you submit the contact form, I will review your project details and reach out using your preferred method of communication. This typically happens within 1 to 2 business days.
The first step is usually a phone call to learn more about your project, goals, timeline, scope, and what you are hoping to accomplish. Depending on the project, we may schedule a site visit before preparing a proposal, or we may be able to prepare a proposal based on the information discussed during the call.
Once you receive the proposal, you will have time to review and approve it. After the proposal is approved and the retainer is received, we can begin the project.
For some projects, the on-site meeting happens before the proposal. For others, it happens after approval as the first step in kicking off the work.
-
Yes. We take on residential projects, especially larger renovations, additions, whole-home projects, and new custom homes.
Our residential work is typically best suited for projects where thoughtful planning, clear drawings, code review, permitting, and construction coordination are important.
Smaller residential projects may be considered as scheduling allows. If we have availability, we are happy to review the project and let you know whether it is something we can support.
If you are considering a residential project, please fill out our contact form, and we can talk through your goals, the project, timeline, and next steps.
